Press | MikeyPod Ep. 290
For over a decade now, Michael Harren and I have crossed paths in a number of ways thanks to veganism and music. Our first encounter was completely by chance as I was trying to dispense of the last few copies of T.O.F.U. #3 in New York City at the end of the first tour. Michael just happened to be at the counter of the vegan ice cream shop while I was asking them if I could leave the magazine for people to take, and we struck-up a conversation. Since then, we’ve kept in touch and tried to help each other out here and there when possible. During the Wild T.O.F.U. Tour, Michael was kind enough to share the bill in NYC with my friend, Amanda Rogers. More recently than that, he joined Emaline Delapaix and myself for a T.O.F.U. Talks chat about being a vegan musician.
So, when Michael asked me to be on his podcast, I didn’t hesitate to say “yes!” As always seems to be the case when I’m given a chance to talk, we touched on a bunch of stuff and rambled about a number of silly things. Since it was recorded before things really hit the U.S.A., we didn’t get into talking much about the situation there, but we did spend some time discussing my trip to a quarantine facility here in Vietnam.
If you’d like to check-out the episode, and perhaps Michael’s other podcast episodes, you can find everything you need here.
