Travel

WAIW | Van Ho Ecolodge

It seems another adventure delayed a Where Am I Wednesday episode, and once again I’m not sorry. I’m back in Saigon now, and I’m sadly not feeling much better than I was when I shot this video. Plus, my ears have yet to really pop from the flight, so that’s making work interesting to say the least.

On a better note, before I came down with what I feel is most likely a cold or flu earlier this week, I was having fun in Northern Vietnam, and I’m so glad I finally made it up there.

Although I didn’t spend much time in Hanoi (maybe next time), I did manage to eat a few good meals and see some sights before heading to smaller towns and rolling hills.

If all goes well, I’ll be posting actual videos of my time in the Sơn La province and Vân Hồ district later. For now, I wanted to share with you where my partner and I found ourselves staying during our time in Vân Hồ.

Given some of the other places I’ve stayed in the past, especially when I was hostel hopping in-between house sits, the Vân Hồ Ecolodge was a great place to stay and I would certainly return there again. In fact, I’m kind of sad that we only really stayed there for one night, but I know travel isn’t exactly something a lot of people are able to do right now. So, I’m happy to at least have had that, and I hope perhaps someday you get to visit the spot too.
