WAIW | Staying in Nha Trang During the COVID-19 Pandemic

Travelling during the COVID-19 pandemic has become difficult, if not impossible, in most of the world. Here in Vietnam, we’ve been fortunate enough to have relatively few cases, and less lengthy restrictions compared to other places.
However, with the border remaining closed since March and a second wave having hit in late July, tourism and numerous other industries continue to struggle.
In today’s episode, I thought I would give you an idea of what that looks like on the ground in Nha Trang. A well-known beach destination for many Europeans and other tourists, the city resembles a bit of a ghost town at this point, and it’s hard to not believe the novel coronavirus has a big part to play in it.
